Choose the guide for your platform or add the tag directly. Once published, BackToMe confirms its detection.
Direct installation
One tag in your shop’s head.
The identifier belongs to your shop. Retrieve it from BackToMe before copying the tag.

- Step 2Replace YOUR_ID, then copy the complete line.
- Step 3Paste it into the global head and publish.

Your platform
Follow the exact path in your CMS.
Each guide shows the code location, prerequisites and common causes of a missing button.
Is your platform not listed? The Custom shop guide works for any site that allows a script in the head.
After publishing
Check that the tag is actually loaded.
Open the shop settings in BackToMe. The status changes as soon as the published tag contacts the service.
The tag has loaded from your shop. Now open the public site and check the button position.
The tag has not been seen yet. This does not necessarily mean the code is wrong.
- Check that you published the correct theme.
- Open the shop in a private window.
- Check the identifier and its position in the head.
- If a CSP is active, allow loading from backtome.fr.
After installation
The tag activates the complete journey.

The customer opens the journey in the language displayed by your shop.

Acknowledgement
A confirmation includes the reference, content, date and time.

The request remains in your dashboard with its verification information.
