The withdrawal button has been mandatory since 19 June 2026 (a European obligation, in all 27 EU countries). Proof is what protects you. Here is how to install BackToMe on WiziShop in 2 minutes. As WiziShop is a closed French platform, the button is added natively via Free Scripts, with no third-party module. 1. In your BackToMe account, copy your tag. 2. In WiziShop, open Settings (gear icon) then scroll to 'External Tags & Services'. 3. Open 'Free Scripts' and click 'Manage my scripts'. 4. Click 'Add a new script'. 5. Name the script, choose the 'Before the page’s head content' placement, on all pages, paste the tag, then tick 'This script does not require GDPR consent': the tag then loads without waiting for cookie consent, which ensures the button appears for every visitor. Save. 6. The button is live on your store. 7. Your customers can now withdraw in two clicks. The BackToMe difference: it is more than a button. Every withdrawal is timestamped, sealed with a SHA-256 fingerprint, confirmed on a durable medium and archived in the European Union for 5 years. Proof that holds up and strengthens the evidential value of your records (electronic proof admissible in all 27 EU countries). Installing the button covers the European obligation. Remember to update your terms and conditions too, to be fully compliant. 7-day free trial at backtome.fr.

Copy your BackToMe tag

Replace YOUR_ID with the shop identifier shown in your account.

Save and publish

The change must be published on the version your customers actually see.

Tag to copy into the <head>

<script async src="https://backtome.fr/widget.js" data-site="YOUR_ID"></script>

Over time

What removes the button from a WiziShop shop

An update or theme change can remove a script that worked until then.

  • Disabling the script in the free-scripts list, or deleting it during a clean-up.
  • Moving it out of the header, or restricting it to a few pages.
  • A plan change that removes access to free scripts.

BackToMe tracks the last signal received

The dashboard shows the tag’s last detection. If the button disappears, you have a precise starting point for checking the shop.

Verification

Check the published shop.

Do not stop at the editor’s confirmation. Open the public site and check what is actually loaded.

Expected result

The status changes to Detected in BackToMe and the button appears on the public shop.

  1. 01Open a private window.
  2. 02Load a public page of the shop.
  3. 03Check the button position and label.
  4. 04Open the form without submitting a real request.

After the click

Every request joins a verifiable case.

BackToMe records the request, sends the acknowledgement and keeps the information needed for tracking. The certificate states exactly what can be checked.

Troubleshooting

The most common blockers.

Every answer can be closed and used from the keyboard.
Tick 'This script does not require GDPR consent'
In the script form, leave the 'This script does not require GDPR consent' box ticked. Otherwise, WiziShop waits for the visitor’s cookie consent before loading the script: the withdrawal button disappears for anyone who refuses or ignores the cookie banner. Yet this button is a legal obligation and must appear for everyone.
Placement '<head>' and 'all pages'
Check that the Placement is indeed 'Before the page’s <head> content' and that 'Shown' is set to 'On every page of the site'. This is what ensures the button appears everywhere, exactly like an injection into the <head>.
Plan required for Free Scripts
'Free Scripts' are not available during the free trial. If 'External Tags & Services' does not offer 'Free Scripts', check your subscription in My Account or contact WiziShop support.
CDN cache on production stores
WiziShop pages are served via a CDN. Allow a few minutes after saving for the tag to propagate to every node. If the button still does not appear after 5-10 minutes, open your shop in a private window to bypass your browser cache.
The button does not appear after publishing
Open the WiziShop shop in a private window. Then check the published theme, tag identifier and its position in the head.
The status remains Not detected
The tag reports when a public page loads it. Visit the published shop in a private window, then refresh the status in BackToMe.
The form does not open
Test without browser extensions. Also check the CSP policy and any tool that blocks third-party scripts.
Can I give the installation to my developer?
Yes. Send them the tag and this guide. They do not need access to your account to add the line to the site.
