How much do I earn, and for how long?
25% of each referral's subscription, recurring and for life, as long as they stay a customer. On a site in legal mode at 25 € excl. VAT/month, that comes to 6.25 € per month per paying site.
Is there any commitment or exclusivity?
None. The programme has no commitment and no exclusivity: you refer whenever you want, as much as you want, and you stay free to recommend other solutions. Sign-up is free and your code is available immediately.
Do I have to invoice my referral for anything?
No. Your referral pays their subscription at the public price, directly to BackToMe. You have nothing to invoice or advance: your 25% commission is paid to you separately, by quarterly bank transfer.
How is the commission calculated, and on which subscriptions?
On each of your referral's sites switched to legal mode (the subscription at 25 € excl. VAT/month), your commission is 25%, i.e. 6.25 € excl. VAT per month per paying site. A referral who equips three shops counts as three. Inactive sites or those on a free trial do not generate commission until they are paid; it starts on the first payment and stops if the referral unsubscribes. The programme covers subscriptions taken out on backtome.fr (Stripe payment).
How and when am I paid?
By bank transfer, once a quarter, above a minimum threshold (otherwise the balance rolls over to the next quarter). The programme is open across the whole EU: your company number (for example your VAT number or your national company register entry) and your IBAN are requested at the first payment. Self-employed status is enough.
How do I track my referrals and my earnings?
Everything is in your “Referral” space, in your BackToMe dashboard: your code and your share link, the list of your referrals and which ones are active (and therefore paying), and the tracking of your commission. You see where you stand in real time, without having to write to us.
Does my referral have anything to manage on my side?
No. The merchant creates and runs their own BackToMe account, installs the button and handles their own withdrawals. You recommend them, that's all.
My referral already has a BackToMe account, does it still count?
Yes, as long as they are not yet subscribed: they enter your code from their “Referral” space, even with an existing account. Once they have taken out a subscription, attribution is no longer possible, which is why it pays to share your code early.
